Ways to use PEMF therapy this Men’s Health Week
Men’s health week is an annual campaign, led by Men’s Health Forum (MHF) to encourage men to take care of their physical and mental health, as well as to raise awareness of many health issues that predominantly affect men more than women. This year, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic, MHF is aiming to get men to open up more about their mental health as many lives have been affected by the pandemic and all it has bought us.
PEMF therapy is most commonly used to manage pain around the body but is also used to help with many mental attributes such as improved concentration and mental wellbeing, a reduction in sleep disturbances, and deep relaxation. PEMF is a great way to improve your well-being naturally with quick results when used regularly and correctly.
Men’s Health Forum has created the ‘Can Do Challenge’ which includes 5 things that we can all do during men’s health week that are scientifically proven to help us feel better. Why not challenge yourself even further and try to link PEMF into the challenge! Here are 5 ways to make us feel better that include PEMF’s:
CONNECT. Connect with those who you haven’t spoken to in a while, discuss new interests with them. Or maybe visit a friend or a relative. We have a Facebook group, ‘PEMF therapy support Network’, where PEMF discussions take place frequently which will give you a chance to read other’s experiences and where you will be able to ask and discuss any questions that you may have about PEMF therapy.
ACTIVE. Being active can boost your mental and physical health greatly, it can also help you gain the maximum results when using your PEMF devices. Go for a walk or run, partake in a new or existing sport, or simply take the stairs and not the lifts! Anything that will get your body moving more will improve your well-being greatly.
NOTICE. Take notice of your surroundings, take a different route home from work, or go somewhere new for lunch. Take notice of your own body and everything that is going on with it. Take some time out of your schedule to implement PEMF therapy into your health routine to help boost your health and wellbeing. To get the most benefits with PEMF, we recommend a daily therapy of at least 30 minutes per day.
DISCOVER. Take some time to learn something new, research something that you are interested in to gain a deeper understanding.
