Jade Emmerton – Marketing
I’m Jade, and I work at NewMed looking after all things marketing and office related! Before NewMed I worked for the NHS for several years. I started working in the Public Health Department, the Mental Health and lastly Child Health and Maternity. I loved all three sectors that I worked in, especially mental health as it was very fast paced, hands-on and every day was different. My colleagues were amazing and so were the patients.
With my background in the NHS I have always had a passion to help others. Working for NewMed allows me to directly improve peoples quality of life and that’s my main objective – to spread the word about PEMF therapy and help people live happy, healthy, pain-free lives!
I’m really enjoying learning about social media marketing, and I recently went on a course with a training company called Ixion. I’ve also attended a few social media workshops, a really good one was with Zoe Cairns and it was called ‘Get Social Kent’. I learned a lot during the course of the day, and Zoe is full of social media knowledge.
I recently got married, so over the last year or so my evenings and weekends were filled with all things wedding related. Now the wedding is over I am enjoying getting back into cooking, I really enjoy finding healthy recipes online and trying them at home, it’s a great way to clear my mind, and I find it very relaxing! I avoid dairy as much as possible as it makes me unwell and I try to avoid refined sugar so I’m always looking for recipes free from these ingredients.
Another thing I like to do is exercise. I go to two classes, twice a week called BLT and BadAss. I used to attend a class called Fight Klub too but it’s on hold at the moment. I love the atmosphere in the classes. I also like to do a 5k run on Saturday mornings, it’s called ParkRun and its free. I workout with a group of my girlfriends, we always have a giggle and really motivate each other, I don’t think I would be as motivated without them! I use PEMF therapy every day as I find it helps with my performance and allows me to workout more.
I have two little Jack Russell’s called Marley and Coco and they love walks and PEMF therapy too. Whenever I have PEMF therapy on they seem to know and come straight over to get some for themselves. They fall asleep straight away. They recently had 4 puppies who were adorable and I still get regular updates from their new owners which is lovely.
Thank you for reading my first blog post! Until next time, Jade.
